RIYADH, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- The death toll from a crane crash in Saudi Arabia's Grand Mosque rose to 111 on Sunday, local media reported.

The incident that came only two weeks before the pilgrimage season also left 331 others injured.

Three Chinese Muslims were among the injured.Two people from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region were hit by falling objects during the accident. The other one from Gansu province was hurt when he slipped away after witnessing the horror. All three are in stable condition, reported China Daily.
